Kaitlyn Lehman - Equine Professional and Business Owner

Kaitlyn is a life long horse woman who grew up in Southern Ohio. Kaitlyn has worked for top equine professionals and in psychiatric residential treatment facilities. Her passion for helping others and love for horses led her to open Equid Branches Wellness Services LLC. in November of 2021. Kaitlyn in Natural Lifemanship trained, a Mental Health First Aid trainer, and certified in Horse Powered reading.

Rhonda Barnett- LCSW, LCADC

Rhonda is committed to providing a path for healing and transformation. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC). Her warmth and humor underlies her authentic style. For twenty-five years she has assisted people with discovering and removing barriers to health and happiness and getting their life back.

Kate Cole- LCSW

Kate Cole is an LCSW who obtained her MSSW through U of L’s Kent School of Social Work and minored in Equestrian Science at William Woods University during undergrad. Kate has experience providing individual, group and family therapy to all age groups. Kate’s experience focuses on the unique needs of children and families facing serious emotional disabilities, trauma, and adolescent substance use or abuse. Kate has over 16 years of experience working with children and families who are actively experiencing a mental health crisis. Kate has held management positions, running both inpatient and outpatient programs through a local Community Mental Health Center. Kate is certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy and has experience working with both survivors and perpetrators of abuse. Kate has experience and enjoys working with all age groups but specializes in teens struggling with trauma responses, substance use problems, depression, and self-harm.

Briahna Michalski - LCSW

Briahna has a passion for growth through community with other women, loves horses, and the outdoors, and is not afraid to wrestle with hard questions related to faith, life, and the struggle as a Christ-follower. As a licensed clinical social worker, she brings a therapeutic approach to individual and group interactions.

First and Joe both joined the Equid Branches family in September 2022.

Mister and Gershwin - Troublesome twosome

Mister, the red head in the photo moved to KY with Kaitlyn in 2014 after his career as a racehorse didn't quite work out. He's Kaitlyn's personal horse but steps into the therapy horse roll when he feels up to it.

Gershwin, the brunette in the photo is KY born and raised. Gershwin came to live with Kaitlyn after an injury ended a successful racing career. He is our class clown and loves meeting new people.
